Victorian Mahogany Chest

I’m sure you know about cobbler’s kids having the worst shoes because he was too busy fixing shoes for everyone else. This dear old chest fell into that category. Angela and I bought this in England nearly forty years ago. It needed serious t.l.c. at the time and we needed a chest of drawers to use. We decided to fill her up until she went on the bench!

I bet you can guess the rest. Yes, a 12,000 mile journey, used every day, and 38 years later, she received the attention that her beauty deserved. Finished at last!
